Notarial Services

DISCLAIMER

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) provides notarial services overseas. We can't tell you what notarial service you need, or whether DFAT must provide it. Ask the receiving authority if you need it, what you need and who can do it for you.

Please note that DFAT has its own guidelines for consular services, which cannot be modified or changed, and if these guidelines do not suit the authority requesting the service, that authority must provide you with another option to obtain what you need.

Be aware that consulates operated by an Honorary Consul don’t provide notarial services. Only the Australian Embassy in Mexico can offer these services.
